Welcome to a New Day…

Ladies and Gentleman, it’s official: this site is up and running, as is…!

I will continue to add features and content, a gallery, videos and writing - like the article i just wrote, “How to stay happy while the world burns,” which will be posted shortly…

It’s been a long road, but over these past months i’ve learned so much about blogging and web designing and seo, etc…my brain is practically computer toast…but it’s all been well worth it! It’s hard to believe the amount of work that goes into the millions of sites out there - i have some serious newfound respect.

Speaking of which…

It being May Day, an ancient pre-Christian holiday celebrating life and the start of Summer, as well as International Labor Day, i’d just like to point out a few live statistics from the truly remarkable Worldometers site, in solidarity with our earth and all of us who live and work in this beautiful world…

Right now, as i write this, at about 9pm PST…

-Over 300,000 people have been born this day.

-Over 25,000 people have died of hunger this day.

-Over $11,347,000 has been spent on dieting in the US so far this year.

-More than 3,789,600 hectares (approx. 9,360,312 acres) of forest have been lost this year (mostly due to clearing for livestock feed).

-More than 10,137,500,000 cumulative hours have been spent waiting for web pages to download.

All of which just leads me to wonder, what’s up with this world and our ever-growing 6.667 billion people…and what are we doing with our time, our earth, and this precious life…?

Well, this is some of what i’ve been doing. I hope you enjoy it, anywhere near as much as i do…it’s just my attempt at trying to address some of the imbalance in the world, living in accordance with my ideals and “being the change you wish to see in the world…”
